GRIDNOT DOWNGRADES DYOCORE

In a press conference, today, GRIDNOT president, Stephen Smith, announced that GRIDNOT would no longer carry DyoCore products as the flagship of their company. “It was a difficult decision” said Smith, “but we simply weren’t able to generate the promised wattage with their equipment, straight out of the box.”

CFO and technical specialist, Eugene Buchanan, pointed out “We were able to modify the equipment, so it would achieve the levels we  promised, but we would have to do this to over 12,000 units and just don’t have the manpower.” Complicating the issue further, Buchanan said “And besides, David and Victor, (both primary leaders of DyoCore) told us that this would void our 5-year warranty”.

Smith told those who attended the press conference that GRIDNOT has accepted the role of California distributor for TLG Windpower. “It’s a system that delivers more than it promises. We feel it represents our philosophy, as well as our business intentions,” said Smith.

Today’s announcement followed several weeks of mysterious decision-making, on the part of the California Energy Commission (CEC), the agency that is administrating what is said to be a nine-hundred-million-dollar fund of money collected from individual customers, on a monthly basis, by Southern California Edison, and several other major electric companies. This fund is supposed to be used to support the placing of small wind generators in residences and businesses, in California.

On March 4, 2011, the CEC suspended its support to small businesses, including GRIDNOT, announcing that it did not like the marketing plan that had the consumer receiving the systems, at no cost. To quote the CEC, exactly, “The program, however, is not intended to fully eliminate a consumer’s economic interest by covering the entire cost of the system.”

“As a result,” said Smith, “We have had to change to a lease, charging our customers $11 a month…..but we’re paying for the increase on our customers’ property taxes, so we feel okay with the change.” Buchanan added that “The lowest the law allows us to charge, on a lease, is $10 a month. We had to stay over that.” GRIDNOT has submitted, to the CEC, requests for rebates to approximately 1,100 high desert customers.

As of this writing, the CEC has not released, to GRIDNOT, any of the money in the rebate fund.

WATER SOURCE HEAT PUMP IN REDLANDS CALIFORNIA 6/24/09.
House

Nestled in the Crafton Ranch area of Redlands California is a new ultra high efficiency FHP Aquarius II residential water source heat pump installation.

Utilizing irrigation water as a temperature source for their heating and cooling, this estate now enjoys setting their thermostat where they like it, without worrying about outside temperatures or high bills.

House

The level of comfort you can achieve with ground source heat pumps is unmatched in the industry.  Coupled with a 30% tax credit and utility saving of 30-50% you can not go wrong when replacing your older unit.

This particular house posed a number of unique problems. The very high vaulted ceilings made it difficult to keep the floor temperature levels low. The previous air conditioners could only maintain 78 degree temperatures if they were started in the morning and ran all day resulting in huge energy bills. Testing the systems upon completion we were able to bring the house down to chilly 62 degrees on a 100 degree day within a couple of hours, which everyone agreed was amazing.

GRIDNOT is building a network of qualified professionals to meet the growing need for high performance cooling and heating in southern California.  Contact us today to learn more.
