 Basic Geothermal Air Conditioning systems circulate water through closed-loops of pipe installed underneath the ground or in a large body of water. If exessive amounts of water are availble, open loop systems can be utilized. Regardless of whether the system is open or closed, heat is transferred to or from the structure to provide year-round comfort, no matter what the outdoor temperature is.
